Happy Birthday, Not Jersey

Not Jersey had a birthday on Friday. He requested spaghetti made with hot Italian sausage and carrot cake. After weeks of searching, I found hot Italian sausage at Target. Whew!

Not Jersey buys what he wants, making him incredibly difficult to ‘shop for.’ I remembered a friend of mine bought a portrait of her dog with flowers on it’s head. Not Jersey loves his dog, so I figured he might like a cool picture of his pooch. I found the website Crown and Paw, and the rest is history. He loved the gift.

This morning the fun continued with a trip to Volcanoes National Park so Not Jersey could hike. Afterwards, we stopped by the Hōlei Sea Arch. I had never been to this part of the island, so that is always fun. Most importantly, Not Jersey was happy and had a good birthday.
